Tammy Abraham tipped for a £34 million move to Roma:

Tammy Abraham has arrived in Italy to complete his move to Roma after the England striker agreed to join José Mourinho’s side from Chelsea for an initial €40 million.

The Serie A club has been in talks with the England international's representatives and struck a deal with Chealse over the following weekend. The 23-year-old has been believed to agree and sign a deal with the Serie A side, for 5 years worth an estimated 3 million pounds per season, after falling from Chelsea's first-team upon the immediate arrival of Thomas Tuchel last January.

Ever since the German manager came into power at Stanford Bridge, Abraham only made 12 Premier League starts last season, being a fan favourite and frequently started by previous manager Frank Lampard, during his reign at the club.

Chealse has cleverly inserted a buy-back clause into Abraham's new deal, worth 80 million Euros, which can only be triggered from June 2023. Tuchel had stated last week, in a club press conference, that it would be Abraham's final decision whether he wants to stay at the club and fight for his spot as the Blue's number 9; upon the recent arrival of Romelu Lakaku for a club record of £97 million.

Despite the reported immediate interest from the Gunners, he is set to join Jose Mourinho's Roma side this season.
